N.; 497, Broad Street, Lonsdale, both in Rhode Island, U.S.A.) Jan. 3, 1935, No. 252. Convention date, July 10, 1934. [Class 74 (ii)] In a circular machine for knitting splitfabric the stitchdrawing cams 6, 7, 8 which draw stitches during both rotary and reciprocatory knitting are mounted on a block 10 which is pivoted at 15 to a slide 23 and can be adjusted about the pivot 15 by means of a screw 36 and spring 37 for the purpose of adjusting the relative heights of the stitch cams in order to equalize stitch length. The screw 36 engages an arm 33 secured to the slide 23, the height of which can be adjusted by a screw 25. The slide 23 and cams 6, 7, 8 can be lifted bodily at intervals by a fashioning cam.
