Abstract
428,248. Loom pickers. EARNSHAW, R. S., and BRACEWELL, F., Curve Street Mill, Bacup, Lancashire. Jan. 23, 1934, No. 2265. [Class 142 (iii)] A scoop picker, Fig. 2, is formed from a tee blank, Fig. 1, by folding the parts a in two or more plies in the direction 1-1, folding those parts obliquely downwardly on the lines 2-2, and then fold. ing the parts b around the folded parts a as in Fig. 3. A wedge is then inserted between the folded parts and the picker is pressed into shape. The wedge hole D and the hole d for the picking strap are punched, and the spindle hole d<1> is drilled, while the legs bare secured together and to the back B by a staple b<1>.
