[Class 98 (i)] A radiographic couch has two supports which receive the patient between them and permit the couch to be tilted to any position without displacement of the patient. The tilting frame a runs on rollers c, and contains a fixed support d and a support i which is adjustable by means of a sleeve-clamp k at one end and a bar o engaging in holes p at the other end. The radiologist occupies a displaceable seat e upon which a cassette holder may be mounted, and views a screen g in the path of X-rays from the tube f. The support i, which is preferably covered with fabric, may be disconnected from its clamps and rest on a support q and the lower end of the seat e.
