[Class 37] In an electric measuring instrument having two rotatable coils, one of the coils 3 is provided internally with pivotal bearings 5, 6, and the other coil 8 is secured to the coil 3, by means such as aluminium clips 7, so as to extend in the direction of the pivotal axis. The coil 3 is mounted on a core member 4 between poles 1, 2, which carry extensions 10 serving as pole pieces for the coil 8. A core member 9 for the coil 8, dimensioned in accordance with the characteristics desired, is carried by a bracket secured to one of the extensions 10. Spiral connectors 16 for the coils are secured to bushes 15 separated by mica discs 14 mounted on an insulated pin 11 secured to a bridge piece 12 by a nut 13. The invention is particularly applicable to quotient measuring instruments, such as those used for measuring resistances.
