Abstract

Induction motor meters; power meters; resistances.-An adjustable resistance for use in connexion with the compensating coil or coils of a watt-meter or watt-hour meter of the induction type, for adjusting phase-relation, consists of a wire bent into two parallel portions which are clamped adjustably in the stationary terminals of the coil. In the form shown, the wire 13 is of concentric circular form, and is held by terminals 11, 12 connected to a coil 14 on a part of the core between the current coils and a coil 16 surrounding the pressure coil.
