[Class 45] A roadside guard comprises longitudinal sheet metal plates 1 having roller edges and telescopically engaging and bolted to adjacent sheets and resiliently secured to posts 4 by circular sheet metal springs 3 having overlapping ends. The springs are adjustably bolted to the plates and the end plates are provided with U-shaped bars 12 through which the ends of a U-bolt 10 pass, springs 14 being provided to give a resilient connection between the guard and the end posts.
