Abstract

361,646. Suspending curtains. ILES. H., Bradford Street Works, Birmingham, Dec. 8, 1930, No. 36929. [Class 52 (v).] A curtain runner for a strip rail a having flange or bead a<1> along its upper edge, consists of a roller b carrying a depending hook &c. d and a guard c which serves to retain the runner on the rail as well as to prevent the contact of adjacent rollers. The guard is supported on the axle e of the roller and the lower end c<1> of one side is bent inwards so that it lies below the bead a<1>. The bead c<1> may extend in both sides of the rail and both sides of the guard may be bent inwardly.
