Abstract

249,183. Griffin, G. E. Sept. 5, 1925. Curtains, suspending.-The flange 2 of a curtain rail 3 is trough shaped and the roller 6 of the runner 5 is of disc-like form with a rounded periphery, so that in the event of a lateral pull on the runner the roller can pivot laterally about its place of contact with the flange and run without contacting with the flange or web of the rail. In a modification, shown in Fig. 5, the rail 3 has two trough shaped flanges 2. The rollers may be arranged in tandem and their peripheries knurled.
