426,605. Typewriters &c. WANDERERWERKE VORM. WINKLHOFER & JAENICKE AKT.-GES., Sch÷nau, near Chemnitz, Germany. Oct. 10, 1934, No. 29027. Convention date, Oct. 10, 1933. [Class 100 (iv)] Sheet - feeding arrangements.-In typewriting, calculating, and like machines, a spring-urged pressure roller 4, cooperating with a driven roller such as the platen 3 to feed sheets, is mounted at each end on a ball bearing which consists of races 8, 9 and balls or rollers 7 and is mounted in the pressure - roller support 5. The race 9 may fit tightly on the end of the pressure-roller spindle 1. For long pressure-rollers, an intermediate support, preferably having a ball bearing, may be provided. The arrangement prevents the pressure-roller from slipping when a number of sheets are being fed.
