[Class 138 (ii)] A wringer 4 is supported in the operative position, Fig. 1, over an end wall 3 of a sink 1 and when not required for use may be swung in a horizontal plane about a vertical pivot 8 and then in a vertical plane about a horizontal pivot 7 to a horizontal position, Fig. 3, adjacent the end wall of the sink and entirely below the level of the top of the sink and in this position it may be covered by lowering a pivoted table board thereover. The pivot 7, Fig. 1, is carried by a lug 6 standing up from an elongated bracket arm 5 which is secured to an upward extension 2<1> of the sink support 2 in the corner adjacent the pivot. The pivot 8 engages in an offset boss 9 in a bracket 10 which is provided with another boss 11 to receive the pin 12 projecting downwardly from the bottom of the wringer framework. The bracket 10 is provided with a buffer 15, Fig. 2, to engage the top of the sink wall when the wringer is in the operative position and with a leg 13 having a buffer 14 to engage the outside of the sink wall. When swinging the wringer about the pivot 8 the leg 11 travels along a flange 22 on the bracket arm 5. The other end of the wringer is supported when the wringer is in the operative position by means of a bifurcated clamping bracket 17 having an apertured boss 16 to receive the pin 12<1> and buffers 18, 19, 20 engaging respectively the top, outside and inside of the sink wall. To free the clamping bracket 17 from the sink wall preparatory to swinging the wringer in the horizontal plane, the wringer is tilted back somewhat about the pivot 7. When the wringer is folded down the bracket boss 16 rests on the end of the bracket arm 5 as shown in Fig. 3. Specifications 405,748 and 419,107 are referred to.
