[Class 70] A tyre retreading mould of the type having two separable mould sections adapted, when in closed relation, to engage the tread of the tyre comprises a rim adapted to receive the beads of the tyre and having flanges which are relatively adjustable so that the spacing of the beads may be varied. As shown the rim is constituted by a base band 9 having one integral flange 10 and another flange 11 having lugs which project inwardly through slots 13 in the band and which are aligned with other lugs 14 on the rim band. In slots in these lugs rest screwed bolts 16, by rotation of which the flange 11 can be laterally advanced or retracted. One mould section is rigidly secured to the frame 6 while the other is slidable on bars 7 by rotation of a screw 8 engaging therewith. Heating fluid may be circulated through the hollow mould sections.
