424,524. Height and level gauge for garments. METAL-WOODS, Ltd., and KLARNER, A., Church Street, Market Harborough, Leicestershire. Dec. 2, 1933, No. 33903. [Class 141] A device for measuring the height of or levelling the lower hem of garments consists of a graduated pillar 2, Fig. 1, mounted on a base 1 and provided with a series of holes 3, and a chalk holder 5 with a tang or peg 4. The holes and tang may be square or round, and tapered. In a modification shown in Fig. 7, a clip 3 carries the chalk holder and is adjustable on the pillar by a spring 7 and pin 8. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 13909/06, 7475/07, 4892/08, and 17218/10, [all in Class 141].
