Abstract

339,150. Pouliot, C. Jan. 2, 1930. Range-finders. - A device for measuring the distance of an object of known height has the form of a slide rule. One edge and the slide are provided with proportional elevation scales of degrees, and the other edge with a vernier scale of minutes. A gauge-cord is provided so that the device may be held at a standard distance from the eye. In a modification the cord is retractable when not in use by a spring drum.
