423,831. Folding tables. WILSON, E. L., 94, Demesne Road, Wallington, Surrey, and WELLS, E. G., Temple Wood, South Park, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. Feb. 26, 1934, No. 6222. [Class 52 (iii)] The legs of a folding table &c., 1 are pivoted in brackets 9 and are connected together in pairs by bars 3, and the locking devices for the two legs of each pair are connected to a common operating device which permits the legs to be freed together and moved by hand to either their extended or their folded positions. The locking devices comprise a spring-pressed plunger 8 engaging in either of two recesses 10 in the supporting bracket 9, and the two plungers are connected by links 7 to a plate 5 pivoted in a slot in the cross-piece 3. A finger piece on the member 5 allows the legs to be released and moved simultaneously. The pivot pins 12 of the legs pass through plates 11 secured to the top parts of the legs, and the legs are arranged to fold into side by side positions so that they do not conflict in their movements.
