423,597. Closure caps for petrol tanks &c. RIDLINGTON, J., c/o J. R. Engineering Co., Olaf Street, Latimer Road, Notting Hill, London. Aug. 4, 1933, No. 21960. [Class 125 (iii)] [See also Group XXV] A closure cap for a petrol tank or like container is secured in position to prevent unauthorized removal by means comprising a lock 4 of the pin tumbler cylinder type having secured to the end of the rotating cylinder an arm 8 adapted to engage under projections 11 on the filler tube 3. The lock is secured by a threaded sleeve 7 to a cap 1 hinged to the tube 3. The arm 8 has an upstanding lug to engage the side of the projection 11. To make the joint petrol tight a leather &c. washer 13 and a spring 14 are mounted on the sleeve 7.
