422,447. Radiators for aircraft. LACHASSE, L. M., 1, Rue Soyer, Neuilly-sur- Seine, France. April 12, 1934, No. 11090. Convention date, April 13, 1933. [Classes 29 and 64 (iii)] In a vehicle radiator comprising a number of elements each composed of spaced parallel plates 1<1>-1<2> through which the liquid to be cooled flows between headers 4-5, the elements are provided with bosses 2 staggered to each other in the same element but oppositely disposed to corresponding bosses in an adjacent element. Between the bosses, strengthening grooves 6 are stamped in the plates. Rivets 20 connecting the plates of each element together and channel pieces 21 between the elements may be provided.
