Abstract

419,986. Cushions. DE POIX ET CIE, H. & F., Rue des Deux Gares, Rueil, Seine-et- Oise, France. Nov. 7, 1933, Nos. 30984 and 30985. Convention dates, Nov. 16, 1932 and March 7, 1933. [Class 52 (iv).] A seat cushion consists of an assemblage of bell-shaped elements 14 of rubber, or of sponge or cellular rubber, joined at their bases and in contact over the greater part of their height. The cushion is preferably made by supporting upon studs 26 within a mould a sheet of unvulcanized spongy rubber 31 which during vulcanization expands and sinks around the studs as shown in Figs. 6, 7 and 8.
