418,199. Rolling. KRUPP GRUSONWERK AKT.-GES., F., Buckau, Magdeburg, Germany. July 14, 1934, No. 20706. Convention date, Aug. 28, 1933. [Class 83 (iv).] Roller tables.-The work receiving roller 2 nearest the rolling mill 6 is resiliently mounted in inclined guides 5 to receive the shock of the work delivered from the rolls and the roller 2 is driven from the mill shaft 9 through the roller 1 and gears 17, 16 and 18, which maintain driving connection during inclined sliding of the roller 2 as follows : the journals 11, 12 carry pairs of plates 13, 14 linked at the centre by a bolt 15 carrying the gear wheel 16, so that the gears 16 and 18 can move around the gear 17 as a centre and maintain driving connection during sliding of the roller 2.
