[Class 89 (i).] In a cycle support having means for automatically locking the supporting- legs in the operative position, a screw stud for clamping the lock casing to the cycle frame is locked against unauthorized removal in the following manner. The lock casing 1 is secured to the chain stays by means of clamping- straps 9, 9<a> and a stud 8, which screws into a block or nut 12 fixed to the casing 1 and has a longitudinal slot 18 in which one or more locking-levers 15 are pivoted at 16. The levers 15 are pressed outwards by a spring 17 into slots 13 in the block 12, and are adapted to be retracted, when the stud is to be screwed in, by means of a key 19 adapted to be screwed into a longitudinal bore 20 and to act on the rear ends of the levers 15 by means of a conical point 21, or a conical recess in the case of crossed levers. The stud 8 may also be locked by a U-shaped pin 10 adapted to be slid into engagement with a square end 11 of the stud, its ends projecting through the wall of the casing 1 and being riveted over.
