[Class 9 (ii).] Relates to bomb-dropping receptacles provided with hinged doors such as 13 normally closed by springs such as 15 but adapted to be forced open by the weight of a bomb 12 when this is released. According to the invention, mechanical, electrical or other means are provided for positively opening the doors while leaving them still free to be opened by the weight of the bomb. As shown, the hinge 14 of the door is provided with a crank arm 16 connected to a telescopic push-rod 17, 18 which moves as a whole when the door is being positively pushed open thereby ; whereas when the door is opened by the bomb, the part 17 slides down the part 18.
