Abstract

415,939. Vehicle wheels. COLLINS, C. M., Barochan, Houston, Renfrewshire. Jan. 13, 1934, No. 1293. [Class 144 (i).] Tread plates for tractor wheels comprise a base-portion 2, Fig. 2, adapted to be detachably clamped to the face of a disc &c. wheel 1 and a ground-engaging portion 3 twisted at rightangles or obliquely to the part 2. In the modification shown in Fig. 3, a series of groundengaging teeth 6 are formed on a single baseplate 5 which is slotted for assemblage over the attachment-bolts 8.
