415,897. Gas fires. MAIN, Ltd., R. & A., and WORTLEY, G. W., Gothic Works, Falkirk. Sept. 28, 1933, No. 26701. Addition to 388,753. [Class 126.] In a gas fire comprising a front plate 10 attached to the frame 13 by hook members, one hook member 20 is provided on each side of the opening in the front plate, the hooks engaging flanges 16 formed on the sides of the framework and extending for a part only of the length of the sides. In the construction shown, short flanges 16 inturned from the sides of the sheet-metal frame are engaged by hooked members 20 formed by bending lugs provided on the sheet-metal front 10. The front bears against out-turned flanges 15 on the sides of the frame, and is secured near the bottom by studs passing through angle members 17 secured to the sides of the frame.
