Abstract

The solution of powdered and granular detergent materials, particularly those tending to form clots, is facilitated by mixing therewith powdered substances which will during solution produce a gaseous discharge. Substances to which the invention may be applied are the alkaline salts of the sulphonic acids having the formula ROSO3Na, where R is an organic radicle, or the alkaline salts of the sulphuric ethers. To produce the evolution of gas, an alkaline carbonate and an organic acid may be employed. Specification 256,053, [Class 91], is referred to.
