414,806. Lathe centres and centre drills. COWARD, H., 14, Marley View, Crossflatts, and COWARD, F. M., 37, North Bank Road, Stoney Ridge, both in Bingley, Yorkshire. March 10, 1933, No. 7271. [Class 83 (iii).] For attaching a centre drill b to a lathe &c. centre a<1>, the centre is provided with a screw thread groove a having a pitch about four times its width, and the drill is mounted in a chuck b having a radial pin c engaging the screw thread. A conical bore d in the chuck engages the conical surface of the centre to locate the drill accurately.
