[Class 133.] A case to hold skeins of silk &c. comprises a rigid or semi-rigid backing member, e.g. of cardboard, which is superposed on and attached to a part of the case and is provided with transverse resilient means to hold the skeins spaced one from another thereon. In an embodiment, the skeins are slipped under elastic bands 12, Fig. 2, attached to a sheet 11 which is secured to one half of a book-like case of cardboard or similar semi-rigid material. Transversely disposed spring clips may be substituted for the bands 12. A piece of felt &c. 15 to hold needles is attached to an edge of the sheet 11, and the case is provided with pockets 5 or a flap to hold needlework &c. The case can be folded about its centre and may be held closed by a press stud &c. fastener 7. In a modification, a case made of flexible material, e.g. cloth, leather, and adapted to be rolled up and fastened by a press stud, carries two sheets 11 secured adjacent to each other. In another embodiment, one or two sheets 11 are secured in the lid of an ordinary box. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also modifications in which the sheet 11 and bands 12 are of fabric the wallet form of case is held rolled up by means of an elastic band, and the skeins are held by loops 26, Fig. 6 (Cancelled), formed in the sheet 11. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
