Abstract

412,719. Road vehicles. CREASEY, E. H., 103, Portland Road, South Norwood, London. March 28, 1933, No. 9265. [Classes 108 (i) and 108 (ii).] In road vehicles of the kind wherein the rear section of the body is spaced from but rigidly connected to the front-section by a transversely disposed dropped platform or footboard, a chassis is provided which rigidly connects the front and rear sections and bridges across the gap caused by the dropped footboard. The rear and front sections 1, 2 of the body are connected by a footboard 3 connected to the sections by brackets 4 and the body is supported on a chassis disposed as shown. The chassis comprises a wooden beam 5 with metal channels 6 which channels towards the front are diverted to support the front section and the undercarriage 12.
