Abstract
412,226. Stockings and suspenders therefor. SOC. POUR L'EXPLOITATION DES PROCEDES D'ATTACHE DE BAS LE ROND POINT, 64, Rue de Miromesnil, Paris. Dec. 19, 1932, Nos. 36025 and 36026. Convention dates, Dec. 18, 1931 and Aug. 5, 1932. [Class 141.] Stockings are provided with one or more small reinforcing plates or discs, adhesively fixed thereto, and used in conjunction with a suspender clip, having curved plates inserted between two or more layers of fabric threaded through a hinged plate. As shown in Fig. 5, the reinforcing plate 5, which is of linen or like material, is perforated and provided with an eyelet 6. The plate may be coated on one or both sides, and attached between two layers of the stocking welt by pressure without the addition of heat. A gum soluble in spirit may be used for adhesive purposes. The suspender clip may be that shown in Fig. 2, wherein curved metal plates 4, arranged between layers a, band c, d of the suspender webbing, carry the members 7, 7<a> of the press fastening, which co-operates with the reinforcing plate or disc on the stocking.
