Abstract

508,879. Sock &c. suspenders. ADAMS, W. H. G., and ADAMS & CO., Ltd., W. J. Feb. 7, 1938, No. 3756. [Class 141] A suspender for socks or stockings of the kind comprising elastic fabric incorporating rubber thread, and an adjustable running grip device is provided in addition with a length of inelastic fabric upon which the running grip device is provided in addition with a length of inelastic fabric upon which the running grip device is arranged to engage. In the form shown, the suspender consists of a loop d of fabric encasing rubber threads to which is adhesively secured at g a length of inelastic material e upon which the running grip f is arranged to engage. The suspender is provided with terminal clips a, b, the latter for attachment to a garment c. In a modification, the suspender is permanently secured to the garment.
