410,806. Valve circuits for wireless reception. NORDFALK, L. A. E., 24, C.N. Petersensvej, Copenhagen. Nov. 22, 1932, No. 33004. [Class 40 (v).] Supply current for the heaters of the valves of a radio receiver is obtained from either alternating or direct current mains by means of a switching arrangement 15. In Fig. 2 the arm 15 connects contacts 14, 17, the rectifier 20 being thus cut out of circuit and the valve filaments supplied in series with resistance 18 from the D.C. terminals 12, 11. For connection to A.C. mains the arm 15 joins contacts 15, 16 ; the rectifier and valve heaters are then all in series with a condenser 19, replacing resistance 18.
