Abstract
410,147. Valve amplifying circuits. ARDENNE, M. VON, 19, Jungfernstieg, Lichterfelde-Ost, Berlin. Aug. 8, 1932, No. 22175. Convention date, Aug. 20, 1931. [Class 40 (v).] An amplifier for television contains an intervalve coupling consisting of a choke L and resistance R which is tuned by the capacity C of the coil L to earth to the highest frequency to be transmitted. An analysis of aperture distortion included in the Specification demonstrates that in this way the appearance of the picture may be improved. Preferably, the damping of the circuit is adjusted to make the degree of amplification the same for all frequencies. Similar correcting circuits tuned to lower frequencies may be added. The amplifier may be used at the receiver or transmitter.
