410,111. Hydraulic accumulators. STEWART & CO., Ltd., D., and HADDEN, W. M., London Road Iron Works, Glasgow. Nov. 9, 1932, No. 31598. [Class 69 (ii).] In hydraulic apparatus for loading and maintaining the shiftable roll of a mangle, a sugar cane or other rolling mill, parallel to its complementary roll, each roller ram is connected to an accumulator, the accumulators being connected for action in unison and being loaded by a common weight or other device, e.g., a solenoid or hydraulic ram. The accumulators may be side by side, or may be in tandem as shown. The accumulator rams G, H may be of unequal or equal effective areas, and subject to equal or unequal pressures, and the roller rams A, D may be of equal or unequal areas.
