Abstract

409,378. Hydraulic transmission of power. WACH, H., 57, Seestrasse, Kilchberg, Zurich, Switzerland. Oct. 31, 1932, No. 30619. Convention date, Oct. 30, 1931. [Class 69 (ii).] Hydraulic transmission gear of the F÷ttinger type is provided with a clutch h, k, Fig. 1, between the primary and secondary parts, and with intermediate vanes c mounted on a member d free to rotate in one direction only, and associated with a brake f. The gear has cooling ribs l and is disposed in a casing m open at p and provided with a damper n, Fig. 2, operated by the clutch pedal. A few holes may be provided in the damper, and part of the liquid is caused to flow in contact with the ribbed wall of the gear. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 249,199, [Class 69 (ii)].
