Abstract

213,816. Rowlands, J. H., and Thomas, G. June 26,1923. Rotary disc valves.-An apertured disc is rotated between two parallel apertured plates. The three plates 4, 5, 6 are held together by a central bolt 2, and the two plates 4, 6 also by bolts 3<A>, 3<B>, 3<C>, so that the plate 5 is free to rotate. The plate 5 is provided with a sectorshaped opening 10, the inlet plate 6 with circumferential slots 8 of different lengths, and the outlet plate 4 with perforations 12. The plate 5 is rotated by a lever 9.
