Convention date, Sept. 2, 1932. [Class 40 (v).] For eliminating undesired frequencies, such as atmospherics, from a radio receiver, a variable resistance 2 shunted by a high inductance 1 is interposed between the aerial 3 and the receiver, two circuits 7, 9 and 8, 10 tuned to the same frequency, which may be that of a local transmitter, being connected between the aerial 3 and earth 18, and condensers 13, 14 being connected between the earthed ends of the tuned circuits and the aerial connection of the receiver.
