Abstract

406,583. Domestic skein holders. ELLIS, H. T., 28, Cedar Road, Norwich. Aug. 15, 1933, No. 22729. [Class 120 (ii).] A skein-holder comprises three arms extended at equal angles and held in their extended position or in a folded position by springs, the whole revolving on a centre pin fitted to a clamp. The three arms A, B, C are mounted between two plates D, E, the arm B being fixed, and the arms A and C pivoted at K and L respectively. The arms A and C are held in the extended position, Fig. 4, by a spring G, H housed in slots in the arms, a stop block F being provided to limit the movement of the arms ; or the arms are held in the closed position, Fig. 5, by the spring. Each arm has a series of holes which carry skein receiving pegs Q. The whole is rotatably mounted on a clamp T.
