[Class 99 (i).] The lower horizontal tube b of a garment display stand is detachably connected to the uprights a by tubular spigots b<3> entering sockets a<1>, spring controlled locking studs b<4> passing through holes a<3> in the tubes. The spigot is formed by a sleeve b<1> protruding from the tube b or it may be formed on the tube by a shouldering process. The pin b<4> is carried by a V-shaped spring b<2> attached to the sleeve b<1>. To prevent breakage of the spring a transverse pin b<5> passes between its limbs.
