Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (v).] A receiver or amplifier for ultra short waves comprises a primary receiver consisting of a valve in so-called Barkhausen-Kurtz connection and the spacial radiation emitted from the interior of which valve is received by an adjacent similarly arranged receiving valve. The primary receiving valve is preferably adjusted to be on the verge of oscillation and little anode current occurs. The receivers are preferably closely coupled and the antenna may comprise a loop or a dipole. Specification 395,248 is referred to.
