403,062. Cosmetics ; hair washes; dentifrices. LASZLO, E., 5, Szervitater, Budapest. March 8, 1932, No. 6943. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, March 12, 1932]. Class 131.] A cosmetic or like composition, e.g. a skin or hair tonic, or a dentifrice, comprises a suitable liquid saturated with oxygen or carbon dioxide. Examples of suitable liquids are, (1) a mixture of 200 parts by weight olive oil, 4 parts salicylic acid and 6 parts absolute alcohol for use when saturated with the gas as a skin or hair tonic, (2) a mixture of 40 parts tragacanth, 10 parts resorcinol, 50 parts eau-de- Cologne and 150 parts absolute alcohol for use when saturated with the gas as a hair tonic, and (3) a mixture of 6 parts benzoic acid, ¢ part thymol, 2 parts peppermint oil, 15 parts eucalyptus oil and 180 parts absolute alcohol for use when saturated with the gas as a dentifrice. Other liquids which may be treated are alcohol, oils, soap solutions, and eau-de- Cologne.
