402,209. Knitting-machines. MELLOR, BROMLEY, & CO., Ltd., and BACKHOUSE, H. R., Minotaur Works, St. Saviour's Road East, Leicester. Sept. 3, 1932, No. 24620. [Class 74 (ii).] The annular bed 1 in which the fabric takeup mechanism 17 of a circular machine is rotatably mounted is so formed as to cover the revolving annular plate 3 which carries the takeup mechanism. A retaining ring 4 is secured beneath the bed 1 to support the plate 3. The inside of the plate 3 is coveredandprotected by a web 13 on the bed 1.
