[Class 61 (iii).] The sliding jaw 3 of a wrench is locked in adjusted position on the shank 2 by a set screw 4 engaging an inclined; preferably stepped, surface 5 on the shank. Removal of the set screw may be prevented by upsetting the end, for which purpose a hole 7 is provided in the opposite face of the movable jaw.
