[Class 3 (ii).] A road-surface marking block comprises a member 2, preferably of rubber, which is anchored to a supporting base 10, preferably of concrete, and is provided with one or more apertures 3 for accommodating one or more spigots 11 integral with the base. The spigots and the rubber may be differentially coloured, and may also be rendered luminous. If desired, the blocks themselves may take the form of characters.
