Abstract
262,845. Miller, A. E. Sept, 9, 1925. Surface markings and signs. -Road-surface markings for traffic guidance are formed of cellular units adapted to be embedded in a trench in the road, the separate cells being filled in with composition or blocks of distinctive colour to mark a line. Fig. 1 shows a cellular structure formed of metal strips a, c half-jointed together, composition blocks or tiles being inserted in the compartments thus formed. Fig. 7 shows a metal or rubber structure cast in one piece with a base-plate e and adapted to receive porcelain blocks f. The transverse or longitudinal members of the structure may pro. ject from the cells as shown at p. Specification 261,478 is referred to.
