Abstract
551,571. Road surface-marking. MACNAB, J. Dec. 13, 1941, No. 16113. [Class 87 (i)] A block for marking roads, kerbs &c. comprises a length A of rubber of inverted channel section with its base thickened and with a central rib c, stranded over the open end of a box e, the sides f, g of which are formed with headed lugs m passing through holes in the sides of the rubber, while its other sides h, i, which are longer, are tapered off at their upper ends and are formed with gaps j to expose lenses d fitted in holes a, b in the thickened portion of the rubber. The rib c is guided in slots k at the opposite internal sides of the box, which is adapted to be embedded in asphalt' or other material in the road &c.
