Abstract

397,799. Warming riders of motorcycles &c. LINDNER, M., 12, Jahnstrasse, Glanchau, Germany. March 30, 1933, No. 9579. [Classes 136 (i) and 136 (iii).] In a motor vehicle with an air-cooled engine, and particularly a motor-cycle, the cooling air heated by the engine 3 is forced, as by suction or by a fan 4, through a pipe 7 into cup-like members 8, which are fitted in front of the hands, knees, feet, &c. of the rider so as to act as weather and draught screens. As shown, the screens 8 are mounted on the handle-bar. The pipe 7 is connected to a hood 5 surrounding the cylinders of the engine.
