Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the heat radiating effect without impairing the external appearance of a racing motorcycle by arranging a fuel tank on a main pipe frame and a radiator between the fuel tank and a steering shaft pipe, having the heat radiating part on the both sides of the main pipe frame and circulating the engine cooling water through the main pipe frame and a downward pipe frame.
CONSTITUTION: The engine cooling water enters the engine from a radiator 17 via a hose 27d, passes through a downward pipe frame 7 via a cooling water outlets 22 and 23 and returned to an upper tank 17a of the radiator via a hose 24b, or passas through a hose 26a and the main pipe frame 7 and return to the upper tank 17a via a hose 27b. The warm water in the upper tank 17a is returned to a lower tank 17b radiating its heat while passing through a radiating part 18. Thus the reduction of the heat radiating effect can be prevented by eliminating the concern for the radiator being covered by mud and the heat radiating area can be enlarged thereby improving the heat radiating effect.
