Aug. 12, 1932, No. 22666. Convention date,. Aug. 12, 1931. [Class 38 (v).] A tumbler switch has the movable switch member in the form of two metal arms d, d<1> insulated from each other but rigidly connected at the lower ends by a pin f and insulation e. The arms d, d<1> are pivoted at their upper ends to a depending part of the cover b and against the outsides of the arms at the pivot point bear brushes m, m<1> carried on springs i, il which connect the arms d, d<1> to the supply circuit. The contact arms d, d<1> are moved into the two switching positions by a dolly c and a dead-centre tension spring h, and operate to connect the supply to one pair of contacts or another. These pairs of contacts. may be cross connected by means of conductors r, r<1> embedded in the base to constitute a reversing switch.
