395,076. Sound-magnifying appliances. CHALMERS, J., 233, Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh. Feb. 29, 1932, No. 5973. [Class 13.] A sound amplifier comprises two spaced circularly corrugated discs 1, 2 provided with truly cylindrical and equi-spaced tubes 4 attached to the interior crests of the corrugations, those from disc 1 interpenetrating those from disc 2 terminating in the plane of the crests on the interior face of the opposed discs and forming a zigzag annular path for the sounds proceeding from a tube 3 passing centrally through the disc 1. A flare 5 is provided diverging from the periphery of disc 1.
