Abstract
394,688. Filing papers. WALKER, E. F., 31, Chiswell Street, Finsbury, and WILMAMSON, N., 83, Tooting Bec Road, both in London. Dec. 30, 1931, No. 35999. [Class 146 (i).] A box, tray, document file, &c. comprises a hinged or pivoted end wall e to which a false bottom part g is secured, and a flap i hinged to the false bottom part ; and when the wall e is turned outwards the articles in the box are raised to and supported in a tilted position. An upright back k may be provided on the flap i so that, as the articles are tilted, they are also drawn forward. A spring clip &c. l may be attached to the back k or to the back c of the box. As showiz, the wall e is hinged to the bottom of the box by a fabric strip, but pivot pins on the lower edge of the wall e and mounted in the sides of the box may be employed. The movement of the various parts can be limited by stops m on the sides of the box, or on the flap i or false bottom part g, or by stops on the wall e which engage in curved slots or recesses in the sides of the box. The lid a can be dispensed with. According to the Provisional Specification, the provision of a flap i is not essential and a pair of arch file devices may be provided on the back k.
