Abstract
396,207. Show-cards. MATHEWS & CO., Ltd., T. and JARVIS, T., Sandiacre Street, Leicester. June 11, 1932, No. 16575. [Class 3 (ii).] A collapsable show-card comprises two receptacles 4, 4a, the upper 4a of which is disposed rearward of the lower 4 and hinged thereto at 10 to fold over and make a substantially flat package for storing &c., and with each receptacle forming a cover for the other. A double strut 13 is attached to the rear 3 of the receptacle 4, and when extended supports the base 6a of the receptacle 4a. A catch member 14 hinged at 14c, 14d, and 14e is attached to the backs 3, 3a respectively of the receptacles 4, 4a. The member 14 has shoulders 15 which engage orifices 12 in the struts 13 to hold the struts open and the parts in position. The receptacles 4, 4a themselves may be collapsable to allow the device to be made completely flat.
