[Class 52 (iv).] A resilient front edge for a seat spring assembly consists of a pa.ir of separate bars 7 hinged to the forward ends of the side bars of the main frame and extending inwards towards each other and supported by springs, such as the blade springs 10 or by the coiled springs 9, 12 alone, or by compression springs beneath the ends of the bars.
